Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Cloud Migration Trainer to provide expert training on cloud migration strategies, tools, and best practices. This role is ideal for both experienced professionals and freshers who are passionate about teaching the complexities of cloud migration, including planning, execution, and optimization of workloads in cloud environments. As a freelance trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging courses that equip students with the skills needed to successfully migrate applications, data, and infrastructure to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs on cloud migration tailored to various skill levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. Topics include migration strategies, assessment and planning, lift and shift, re-platforming, and refactoring.
- Content Creation: Create up-to-date training materials such as presentations, hands-on labs, case studies, and real-world migration scenarios using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and other leading platforms.
- Training Delivery: Conduct interactive and engaging training sessions both online and in-person, covering key areas like workload assessment, data migration, security considerations, and post-migration optimization.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate student performance through quizzes, practical assignments, and migration projects. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills in executing cloud migration tasks.
- Support and Mentorship: Offer guidance and support to students, assisting them with troubleshooting migration challenges, selecting appropriate migration tools, and applying best practices in cloud migration.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest cloud migration trends, tools, and best practices. Regularly update the training curriculum to incorporate new migration technologies, techniques, and real-world use cases.
Qualifications:
For Experienced Professionals:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in cloud migration, with hands-on expertise in migrating applications, data, and infrastructure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Teaching Experience: Previous experience in training, mentoring, or conducting workshops on cloud migration or related fields is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud migration tools and methodologies, including lift and shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting. Familiarity with tools like AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate, Google Cloud Migrate, and third-party tools like CloudEndure and Velostrata.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex migration processes clearly and effectively.
For Freshers:
- Education: A degree or certification in Cloud Computing, Computer Science, IT, or related fields with exposure to cloud migration concepts and tools.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of cloud migration gained through coursework, personal projects, or internships. Familiarity with cloud platforms and migration planning tools is a plus.
- Passion for Teaching: A strong interest in teaching and guiding students in cloud migration, with an emphasis on hands-on learning and practical application of migration strategies.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills, capable of simplifying complex migration topics for learners.
