Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cloud Security Trainer to deliver high-quality training sessions on securing cloud environments. This role caters to both seasoned professionals and fresh graduates eager to teach cloud security practices, compliance standards, and risk management techniques. As a freelance trainer, you will be responsible for designing and conducting courses that emphasize practical skills, cloud security frameworks, and the latest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course Development: Design and create comprehensive training programs on cloud security, tailored to different skill levels including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Topics include identity and access management (IAM), data security, threat detection, compliance, and incident response.
- Content Creation: Develop and regularly update training materials such as presentations, hands-on labs, simulations, and case studies focusing on cloud security across major platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Training Delivery: Conduct live, interactive training sessions both online and in-person, teaching key cloud security concepts such as network security, encryption, monitoring, and secure application deployment.
- Student Assessment: Assess students through quizzes, assignments, and real-world security projects. Provide constructive feedback to enhance their understanding of cloud security measures and best practices.
- Support and Mentorship: Offer guidance and mentorship to students, answering questions and assisting with troubleshooting cloud security issues, configurations, and compliance challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest cloud security trends, tools, and compliance updates. Integrate cutting-edge techniques and emerging threats into the curriculum to ensure up-to-date training.
Qualifications:
For Experienced Professionals:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cloud security, managing and securing cloud environments on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Teaching Experience: Prior experience in conducting training or workshops is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud security principles including IAM, encryption, firewalls, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), and security automation. Familiarity with security tools and frameworks such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and GCP Security Command Center.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer are highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of simplifying complex cloud security concepts.
For Freshers:
- Education: Degree or certifications in Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Computer Science, or related fields with exposure to cloud security.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of cloud security gained through coursework, projects, or internships. Familiarity with core security concepts and tools on cloud platforms.
- Passion for Teaching: A strong interest in educating and guiding students in cloud security, with a focus on hands-on learning.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to make complex topics understandable.
