Job Description: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Big Data Trainer to deliver high-quality training sessions for individuals and groups. This role is ideal for both seasoned professionals and fresh graduates who are passionate about teaching big data concepts, tools, and technologies. As a freelance Big Data Trainer, you will design, develop, and conduct comprehensive courses covering a range of big data topics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course Development: Design and develop in-depth training programs in big data, catering to various skill levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners. Topics include big data architecture, Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and real-time data processing.
- Content Creation: Create and update instructional materials such as presentations, coding exercises, datasets, and case studies that reflect current big data practices and technologies.
- Training Delivery: Conduct live, interactive training sessions via online platforms, focusing on essential big data skills such as data ingestion, storage, processing, and analysis.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate student performance through quizzes, assignments, and practical projects. Provide detailed feedback to enhance their understanding and application of big data concepts.
- Support and Mentorship: Offer personalized support to students, addressing their questions and helping them troubleshoot issues related to big data technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in big data, including new tools, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate these into the training curriculum.
Qualifications:
For Experienced Professionals:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience in big data technologies, with hands-on experience in tools like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Pig, and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Teaching Experience: Previous experience in teaching or training, particularly in a freelance or remote capacity, is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in big data tools and technologies, data processing frameworks, and programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala. Experience with cloud-based big data services (e.g., AWS EMR, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in big data or related fields (e.g., Cloudera Certified Associate, AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty) are preferred but not mandatory.
